Surprise is masked, but he does not restrain from looking at her. Curious he wonders what her business could be on this floor. All Fugaku knew is that he was to arrive promptly for a scheduled meeting with his father. This woman probably worked for him, or at least that is what he assumed.
The elevator’s doors shut and the sleek machine carried the two individual to their designated floor. Fugaku said nothing, not being a man of conversation. He enjoyed silence.
